This core course is designed to introduce students to the principles of scientific research, the importance of experimental design and selection of research methods. Students become familiar with the development of concept for research topics, proposal writing and designing research project , as well as documenting results and writing scientific manuscript. Students acquire an awareness of the requirements of peer reviewed journals and the needs of the editors of scientific journals.
